Break from I-5 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 1, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

It's good to have something started here. A few of the holes are good. Hole 10 is the best with a defined route with the basket on a volcano guarded by trees. There are various carpets laid out that give adequate footing. A river is adjacent to the course which will come in handy on a hot summer day. It's about 3 minutes off of the I-5 Freeway.

Cons:

It is very easy to lose a disc here. A spotter will be very helpful especially if you want to go for a long bold shot. There seem to be 3 tee off areas for most holes. and it can get very confusing as some have a carpet to throw from and others do not. Some of the tee areas don't seem to have a very logical place to throw especially if you want to find your disc. Some of the directional arrows point the wrong way. There are some hideous stickery places that your disc can land. There were occaisonal foul odors like dead fish or animals. Somebody needed to be 1st to review this so there you have it.

Other Thoughts:

With some work it will become a nicer course but for now Roseberg or Grants Pass will give you much more disc golfing enjoyment.
