Pros:
The Tees are very well marked with signs that show the holes, and they were all accurate. There were many different types of holes. Nobody was there when we were there... Good use of the entire park. Relatively short course, you can play it in 40 minutes...
Cons:
There is a par 4...I am very much against having par 4's...Especially when the par 4 is only 465 feet AND in an open field. Not necessary... As a matter of fact there were 3 or 4 holes that were completely open, no hazard, no tree, nothing...no imagination needed. I would have also like to see tee boxes of some sort.
Other Thoughts:
We drove 40 miles to play this course, I will drive that again to play it when time allows. I am not saying that this is a destination course, but something about it was just fun...Most of the holes if not all are aceable. I actually hit the chains from the tee on 18...(so close). It seemed like all of the holes were 300 feet, and if that is a comfortable distance for you to throw then you are in for a fun day. I can imagine that during the warmer months you would need mosquito spray, so bring it...You do have to throw over water on a few holes and near water on a few more...HAVE FUN!!!
