The opposite of #11, this hole plays shorter due to the slope down hill. You usually have a breeze coming up the hill from the left, which can extend your (rhbh) tee shot if you allow the wind to get under the left wing of the disc. Last time here, I was able to drive my star Tern fairly straightaway, let it drift right, and fade just past (!) the pin.
A lot of folks throw at the fir tree guarding the 13th tee, and fade in to the pin, but be ready to warn anyone there if you go longer than expected.
