Pros:
Little Black Creek is a great park in Mississippi with a large lake, some forest, hills, and lots of picnic areas. This makes it beautiful, and very popular for all people, disc golf or not.
The course is not the primary course on the property, with no real tees marked by more than a couple flags. But with a map navigation is pretty easy.
The distance on the holes is pretty reasonable. Takes a good drive with power and accuracy to be in position, but for the vast majority of the holes you will have a clear second shot/approach. You play around most of the thick woods instead of through them.
Honestly there's not a whole lot to say here. Kind of a "you played one 3 disc course you played them all" situation. Nothing too spectacular, but overall satisfying.
Cons:
Being around the boat ramp, several holes were unplayable because of pic-nic'ers and recreational park users, or played too close to a parking lot that had cars in it.
The dirt unmarked tee's with no signs weren't great, but given this is kind of temporary course from the impressions I got.
Other Thoughts:
This course is great for a quick stop, right by the gate, except you still have to pay the $3 entry fee. But if you pay both courses it's more than worth it.
Being the second course on this property, the other one is obviously the better course. This one is great, but it is really overshadowed by the Eagle's Landing course on the other side of the lake.
