Pros:
Really a good challenge in the hills (especially the back 9)
Plenty of walking
Good signage
Original and unique tee boxes (trapezoid shaped)
Nice placement in a city park, you feel in nature, yet are a couple jumps from civilization
Not claustrophobic, well spread out
Cons:
Could be a challenge to walk for some (2.5 miles of hilly walking)
Hole #10 for beginners, definite water hazard #15 is only moderate risk.
Can be confusing to find the next hole at times, just pay attention to the markers
Other Thoughts:
I advise to take a picture of the map mounted to the tennis court fence, located right next to tee box for #2
Some holes you need to spot out before you tee off, in example 2 and 4, due to trees and hills being in the way
Holes #10, #15, #17, #18 are all really close to water, you have been warned, but it is a fun challenge for players with any decent experience. The creek near #17 and #18 is relatively shallow, simple to retrieve your discs there, #10 and #15, are not so easy to retrieve from Litz pond.
Best Course in the Cape Girardeau, MO area.
