Nice for locals 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 4, 2020 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

A great mix of heavily wooded holes and wide-open spaces. Even on the wholes that are wide-open, there are some trees that are in play. Also clearly marked holes and alternate tee boxes for each hole turning this 9 hole course into 18 holes.

Cons:

A local biking/walking trail goes through the middle of the back half of the course.

Other Thoughts:

The back half of the course is in tall grass, but it is kept short and not usually a problem.

Livermore DGC 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 28, 2013 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

-Good mixture of technical shots, and open shots.
-Easy to find signs and tee boxes
-Restrooms and snack bar near by
-Good use of terrain

Cons:

-No tee pads
-Blackberry bushes and sometimes poison ivy can make retrieving discs difficult

Other Thoughts:

When I first played this it felt like a course was forced into the area, but the more you play it, the more you realize the terrain and area was used very well. The first couple holes have lots of trees blocking a straight shot, but after the 4th hole they are alot more open.

Easy to navigate.
Signs mark where the holes end
Challenging but not impossible
Water and bathrooms close by

Cons:

Easy to lose discs

Other Thoughts:

This is my home course. Played it quite a bit. Really having a lot of fun. The distances aren't too far but the terrain makes it a fun challenge.
