Pros:
Winter golf in Montana!
Set up in winter time when the ball golf course is closed.
Plays along the Yellowstone River with epic views of the Crazy Mountains to the north and the Absoroka Mountains to the south. Both rise over 6500' above the valley floor.
Bald and Golden Eagles will be there EVERY time you play.
Awesome use of the terrain with 3 par 4's (6,11,17)
Hole 12 has a double mandatory between the 2 obvious trees.
If you do not pass through the mandatory trees, take a penalty stroke and throw from anywhere between the mandatory trees.
Hole 15 is an island created by the cart path. Played as BUNCR.
Play from where Disc came to rest with one stroke penalty.
All tarp covered greens and sand bunkers are OB.
As this area is known for wind, part of the design is based on having to play every angle related to the wind. Head wind, tail wind, right to left, left to right and everything in between.
Cons:
Wind. But it makes for great wind training.
Other Thoughts:
Only open in winter but the pads are shoveled constantly and the wind generally removes the snow once a week.
