A putter friendly , short intro course in Cascade , Memorial Park is a very flat course running counter clockwise around the other park amenities , like the ball fields and tennis courts . The course has nice concrete tee pads , good baskets and an easy enough flow to it . NDN ( No Driver Needed ) , so bring and approach disc and your putter . Maybe bring 2 putters , because I lost mine throwing past hole 5 . This course is an exceleent How-DO-You-Do couurse for the kids , familes and beginners . If it had a signature hole , I would say it is #6 , a window uphill shot over the creek and to the right . Putting basket is behind the first building that you see when you park

Only real elevation is a downhill putter throw with a fence behind it on #2 . The holes play real short and open . Some wind in this park . Take it for what it is , a kids course or a quick round for a bagger .

Families that picnic here , someone new to the game , grade school kids . Those are all I would include coming here . Easy in , no frills , easy out , like your pizza . 30 minutes or lees , or your round is free .

9 hole course winding around a multi-use park in the small town of Cascade, WI.

Innova Discatcher baskets, brand new. 16 chains and caught very well. Red powder coated and easy to spot.

Concrete tee pads were grippy and nice, but short. At 6' long, they don't allow for much of a run up...but as short as the course is, you may not need it.

Navigation was very simple, as the course basically winds around the softball diamonds, and all baskets are very visible.

No tee signs at the present time. I'm not sure if they're in the works, so we shall see.

As mentioned above, the tee pads are very short. They were well poured, so you should be able to use the areas behind the them for extra run up.

There's not a lot of intrigue or excitement to the shots here. Most of them are wide open, with little in the way of obstacles. There is a small creek/river that runs along a few of the holes, but you'd have to miss pretty big to have it be a factor.

There are some safety concerns here, as many/most of the holes wrap around the softball diamonds and into the overflow parking for the park. If there's any action on the diamonds, you're not going to be able to play the course.

From what I've been told, this course was put in as an Eagle Scout project. I'd assume it's catering to the kids in this small town, and with that, it's not all bad. Most of the holes are ace run types, and as such, it's definitely accessible to all ages and skill levels. Just don't come here looking for a challenge.

It's a course, with great baskets, in a great little town. Nothing more, nothing less.
