Pros:
Cement/concrete block tees - level and grippy, long enough for the hole lengths that are there.
Mach V baskets in great shape
A couple technical, heavily wooded holes, most are on the open side though. But the openness was done very well, and didn't feel repetitive or boring. Most open holes had the green tucked away in trees, on dirt plateaus, or on the top of steep hillsides - as in the case of hole 8, which is at the peak of a tall open hill, but a wall of trees blocks the up-the-gut throw.
Fantastic use of elevation - there seemed to be only a pair of completely flat holes on the course, the rest navigated up steep hills, down into groves of trees, two flat fairways that dropped down a steep hillside to the basket, and a GORGEOUS view of the bay/Lake Superior on basket 8/tee 9. The elevation also means you'll get a good workout whilst playing.
Challenging - I don't recall one hole below 200' - and while I like a shorty ace run, I was more than OK with this. You have to earn your birdies here. Placement is key, even on the longer holes, you need to have good accuracy, as most baskets are strategically placed with many guardian trees.
Dedicated disc golf space
Freshly cut, clean, and defined fairways
Convenient location, close to mall, restaurants, lodging, etc.

Signage was very helpful when present, but most of them were damaged to the point of non existence on many holes. Dunno if it was storms or vandalism, but I unfortunately suspect the latter. Made for a couple of fairway walks before the throw.
Navigation - some of the walks between holes aren't exactly obvious; there is a map at the beginning of the course; I would advise you taking a picture of it with your phone or something. The teesigns that are there show the direction towards the next hole, but there are no actual next tee signs by the baskets. But of course, a lot of the teesigns are missing/damaged.
A pair of holes (6&7) use the same fairway, playing down and back. It is plenty wide though, and both tees are visible from each other, so it shouldn't be an issue, but still worth mentioning.

Other Thoughts:
This is a beautiful, well done 9 holes. It isn't the quickest to play, as it is definitely not a pitch n' putt, but it is a good thing. This course will test your fairway drive game alot, as well as placement, and of course putting. Nothing's a gimme here. Beautiful views, lots of elevation and exercise, and a great round await. I would play again if I had the time. New signage is definitely needed, and I wish they would have used the woods to create maybe one more tight wooded hole, and maybe one deuce or die hole. Still, this is worth the visit whenever you're in the area.

Pros:
There were benches on most holes. Rudimentary tee signs on most holes were helpful, though they won't stand to weather for long (laminated paper screwed to fixtures at tees). Designated tee pads. The course made good use of topography (read: be prepared for a workout!). Though it frustrated me at times, the forest comes into play quite often keeping it interesting.
Cons:
The course description didn't prepare us for what we were about to encounter effort wise. Had it, I would have brought my whole bag with water & snacks instead of only two discs for a quick bag. Roughly half the gravel tee pads were muddy, but there seemed to be space next to them for teeing off. Relatively intuitive course flow but there were a couple of spots where you could get thrown off due to lack of signage and remnants of the 18 hole course. Mostly going from pin 7 to 8 tee...Stay right.
Other Thoughts:
First, I would say this is a nine holer that you don't want to miss. Not sure it deems a repeat, but maybe when I'm fresh and not dog tired.
Secondly, this was the last course we played in a day of 5 courses and were seriously unprepared for the hike...so, prepare yourself!
I'd rate this course as a skill builder for intermediate players, downright difficult and demoralizing for beginners, and a fun challenge for advanced players.
It was a little right hand hyser heavy but there were a couple turnover shots and straight shots to keep you on your toes.
I went into it armed only with two discs, putter and mid-range, but desperately wished I had a driver as my drive isn't as powerful as my partner's. He was able to reach just about everything with a roc and was fine with just the two discs.
Secondly, this was the last course we played in a day of 5 courses and were seriously unprepared for the hike...so, prepare yourself!
