Good not great 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 1, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Good layout and signage
-Multiple basket positions
-Good community support (league, FB group, and tourneys)
-the 13ish holes not affected by the lake
+some fun technical shots through windows and around trees
+can't lose a disc on these holes

Cons:

-the 5ish holes next to the lake that are affected by:
*Muddy, stagnant lake water
*Poorly maintained shoreline
*Fishermen and lots of geese poop come into play
-No benches, drinking fountains, bathrooms, or trashcans on the course besides where you park

Other Thoughts:

This could be a much higher rated course if the lake and its shoreline is improved. I don't mind retrieving a wet disc, but it is not worth it to do here.

It is a good intermediate-level course. There are 3 holes that your drive is over water. (You can play around the water if you wish.)

Needs A Trim 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 18, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Great layout, loss reward with multiple water holes
-Mach III Baskets
-Concrete Tees
-Logical flow

Cons:

-Trees need a trim, there's a lot of low hanging branches in throwing lanes
-Attack geese nesting near fairways
-People fishing could be in the way

Other Thoughts:

I enjoyed this course. Some of the holes just had too many low hanging branches to make an accurate throw with any distance. Tight fairways are okay, just need to be trimmed up a bit. Other than that I highly recommend it.

Lots of hazards 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Sep 5, 2009 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

-Good variety of short skill shots vs long placement shots
-Some fun holes where you throw over water
-Signs mark where the pin is, although some were missing when I was here
-Concrete tee pads on the front nine
-Mature trees are the main form of vegetation
-Good scenery(i.e. apple trees, pond, geese, etc)

Cons:

-Very easy for beginners to lose a disc because you are throwing over or next to water on nearly every hole
-The water was gross when I had to go in to get a disc. (I also got a leech between my toes)
-Lots of goose/duck feces on the course
-The course can be difficult to navigate if you have never played it before. However, there are arrows spray painted on the ground next to some pins that point towards the next tee.

Other Thoughts:

There is a local league at this course.
There is also an annual Goose Poop Open tournament, usually in June.
