Seemed to be a busy/popular course.
Some great uphill/downhill shots.
Great visibility but still technical with trees and obsticles.
Tee markers and tee maps in place at most tees.

Quite a few tee maps were inaccurate - baskets were often moved from their apparent original placement with no alternate marking on the map (basket 7 or 8 was pulled out of the ground with concrete intact).
Tight course with a little more overlap than I prefer - causes backups on the course
Course crosses public paths numerous times - make sure to check for bystanders.
Dangerous foliage (cactus, poison oak, etc.) - most are well marked/visible
More than half of the baskets were not visible without significant scouting - a pain if you are having to go up and down the hill between throws

I had mixed feelings about this course. If it was not my first time playing I think I would have enjoyed it more. I never like overlapping runs but sometime it's difficult to avoid with courses in tight spaces. Correcting basket locations to match the maps or updating the maps could help first time players of this course.

-Intelligent use of natural slopes.
-Mixture of moderately wooded and open shots all of which make some use of a slope of at least eight feet.
-Clearly marked area of poison oak which is used as a natural barrier on holes 6.
-Well drawn and labeled maps for each hole.

-Some holes placed close to walking paths or rec areas

#1 Has been moved recently, now it is past the upslope on the right with trees and an moderate incline to enhance the over or around hill shot.
#2 Hasn't changed much shot goes over a 20 foot deep ditch with brush on the left side and a few trees on either side of the fairway.
#3 Has moved from the much feared corner to the other side of the ditch, adding about fifty feet to the hole but subtracting a degree of technical quality.
#4 is the first of the top of the hill power shots, if you can clear the trees you might be able to get an easy 2, but watch the backstop, you may not find your disc.
#5 Is straight uphill, drains stamina and will to live.
#6 Top of hill shot. Apparently according to the pictures i've seen recently posted. this hole now shoots a little bit over the poison oak and ends right in front of the tee for #7, i haven't played since the modifications but it seems like this will slow down play on both #6 and #7. I want to know how many of these modifications are being made by disc golf players and how many are made by suburban bureaucrats.
#7 Shoots back towards the poison oak but the pin has been moved to the front of the trees instead of in the middle that made every upshot threaten to got into the poison oak.,
#8 plays across the hill on the left side with a line of trees in the center lining a gravel path with thick brush guarding the right boundary. Pin is also placed on a tricky slope, make sure your shot sticks, either in the basket or up close, if not it might roll for 30 feet.
#9 Best hole of the course, long shot over trees but high enough teepad for clear skys. This is the hole that keeps me going through the frustrating slopes that always catch me unprepared.

The course plays up, down and across the large, mostly-open-but-scattered-with-trees hill that makes up much of a very nice park. Having a picnic table, benches, and water fountain at the top of the hill where tees #4 and #9 are located are nice touches, and the views of the surrounding hills are quite nice. The park has bathrooms, water fountains, and many things for kids and families to do, mostly not near the disc golf course. Petrol and food options are not very far away.

Some crossing fairways and a couple holes where a runaway, wind-blown disc could threaten non-players. Single tee/basket.

An easy course to navigate with signs and distance information at each tee location. Six of the nine tee locations are long-n-wide and composed of concrete blocks, one is a rubber mat, and two are dirt. Distances range from 285' to 431', average about 315'. The course starts you with two ~300', up-slope, right-turning shots with a few trees to avoid. After playing #3, a 300' straight shot along the top of the hill, you come to your first major downhill hole at #4, 322' away and to the left - an errant toss here could threaten tee #5 and/or the horseshoe pits. Number 5 bring you back 300' up the slope, to #6, the longest (431') hole, another major downhill shot, but this time with some large trees to deal with mid-flight, and a slightly uphill pin location. Number 7 has you throwing back across the fairway you just played over to a well tree-guarded basket 285' away. Number 8 is a difficult hole, up/cross slope with scattered trees the entire way to the basket almost 350' away - this hole also crosses #6's flight path. Finally, a little stroll up to #9, again at the top of the hill, with another throw similar to #4's - 317' away, slightly left, with a walking path and building in danger if you throw too far and right - a real possibility with the constant wind here.

Closest parking to tee #1 is not in the parking lot off St. Mary's Rd, but in the parallel spots along Moraga Rd.

The course is a lot of fun to play, and watch your shots fly! There are many long and turning shots required to counter the scattered trees and elevation. Getting to watch your disc soar on downhill holes 4, 9, but especially 6, where you can really cut loose because of the extra distance and no non-players to worry about, is a blast.

Nice layouts for 9-holes course in town park area. Easy to figure out where is the tees and targets. Can finish the round less than 30 minutes if you didn't loose the discs.

Watch out for kids and walkers around the park. More crowded on weekends and summer times. Discs can get lost if you are not paying attention.

Nice course for players to stop by in the area for a quick round.

No pedestrian issues, the course area is typically disc golfers only. Two or three very nice holes, particularly #6, a long downhill shot with the basket near a large power tower. There are a couple of very nicely done tee boxes made from hand laid bricks.

Some tees are dirt and fairly sketchy, particularly if it has rained recently. Hole design is typically open and often straight up or down a hill. At least one basket is super old, rusty, and has only a single set of chains.

Nasty poison oak down in the creek behind #4's basket, and it's easy to overthrow down there with the downhill slope.
