Hole 12 starts out in the open, but quickly transitions into the woods once again. Once inside the treeline, the fairway curves gently to the left as it descends to a small plateau green. The entire fairway slopes down to the left, and many errant shots have found their way to the fence and the creek at the bottom of the hill. The trees are thick, the ground is rocky, and the recovery shots are as difficult as they are plentiful. At this point in the course, mental and physical fatigue can begin to play a role in shot selection and execution.
