Muldrauuuuugggghhhhh!!!

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 19, 2024 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

This area is solely dedicated to disc golf. Even though the park is situated right next to a city, you feel like you are miles away from civilization. This course features extremely tight lines and massive elevation changes with deep gulleys. Getting off the fairway here reminds me of recovering a bad drive at V-Rock in Alabama. If you love woods golf, you will be in heaven here.

Someone spray painted the tops and bottoms of several baskets with fluorescent paint. Much appreciated! Saves time walking up the fairway trying to locate the basket.

Hole 1: Kind of gimmicky, but so much fun. Is it a quadruple mando???? May be one of a kind. This tunnel shot would make the perfect hole 18.

Cons:

The course will feel repetitive in places with an abundance of RHBH hyzer fairways. Some trails can get dangerous with wet leaves and mud. When I say fairways are tight, I mean tight. One could argue maybe too tight.

The course plays in a clockwise pattern around the property with the only deviation being holes 13-17 that play down into the valley and back. There are no two 9-hole loops as we desire. Once you leave your vehicle at hole 1, you won't be near the parking lot again until hole 18.

Hole 18 is cool, but is such a tight fairway I feel like it doesn't leave me wanting more.

Other Thoughts:

Leave the drivers at home. Bring new midrange plastic to break in. If you are a hair off, you'll be smacking trees on every hole!
