1st hole was a blast to play.Enjoyed the tunnel shot under the road which plays as a mando. The course was very hilly and short though.That gives you plenty of chances for birdies if you can keep it straight and out of the woods.

The course is extremely hilly which could be bad for some but me and my son we enjoyed the terrain changes.It made for some different shot making.The course in February was free of leaves in the trees but I`m guessing would be very hard in the summer months

It was my first time here and will definitely be back.Cuodo`s to the locals who have done a great job keeping the course in great condition.I had read before the place was unplayable so I have never been here but it couldn`t be farther from the truth. Nice course wish I had played it before.

Well, this baby's going on my Favorites list, and is my 150th review, so that's saying something! The wooded, hilly, 18 hole course in Muldraugh, KY starts and finishes with BANGs, and pleases my mediocre arm with a boatload of downhill fades. Granted, *you-have-to-hit-your-line* (!!), but it is SO rewarding when you do, it overcomes the handful of cons listed below.

Decently sized, level, boxed concrete tee pads work really well in these steep settings, and they're most often uphill from the previous (18 chain DGA) baskets. So on a huge number of holes, you trudge up a few steps and are rewarded with a downhill tee shot. I loved being able to drive past the second basket, after the unique (FUN! And I think unique?) road tunnel opener.

The course flow is really very intuitive, and you never feel like you're trying to pick out which target to throw to (even if some of the baskets play blind from the tee). Even so, I drew up a schematic map for first timers. There are plenty of benches and trash cans. The signage is adequate to the task, showing length and a hole overview. Hey, there's even a nice seat carved out of a log on hole 4 that sits up left of the tee with a great view down the fairway.

The difficulty is scaled to the Intermediate player with decent control but not necessarily a lot of need for distance. Quality tee shots can get a lot of deuces, and nice upshots and recoveries keep most errors to threes. This might not be so for casual to Rec players (who might be a little more frustrated). Advanced and Open players could come here and dazzle.

Anyway...after using almost all of the available space in the park, you round back to another nearly unique ( there's one like it at Iroquois, actually, but not with the steps...) ridge top 18th. With its teeny "green", and danger dropoffs on all sides, it's a thriller to deuce (I got lucky this time, with a Buzzz that stuck by the little tree at the top of the steps). Oh, you NEED to see the stairs here now. They've carved a set of steps out of one massive log, and engraved names on each tread (I'm guessing, of the guys who've worked the improvements out here? If the story is different, I'd love to hear it!)

The baskets actually could use a splash of bright colors (new reflectorized tape, flags, or powder coating...in order of cost), for newcomers to be able to spot them more easily. Though a huge amount of little bridges, steps, and logs have been placed where needed, the HUGE, DEEP ravine running through the middle of the course looks pretty treacherous , and you need to be wary of erosion undercutting a couple of the pathways, especially on holes 2 & 7. I would not recommend night golf here.

There isn't a lot of 'D' on this course, for those who really demand it. And it definitely favors RHBH tee shots. Neither is really a con for me, so it got a slightly inflated rating for suiting my game. Sorry!

The course kiosk sign has nothing on it right now, and the little parking area is similarly dilapidated, but these don't affect the fun play.

I've come here twice over a 20 month span (constituting some growth in my game), but both times when the leaves were down, so I could spot and determine lines of flight fairly readily. I would say that a newcomer playing in full foliage may want a guide and some tips to hit the needed lines.

I played this course when there were no pads and you couldnt find the baskets this course is in great shape and is very challenging whoever maintains this course does an excellent job one of my favorites

if you happen to land in one of the ravines you might have a tough time getting your disc bring a retreiver

Seating at most every hole. A very unique opening hole (Through a tunnel under a road!). All holes are birdiable (Is that a word?). A nice array of BH, FH, Tommy, & Thumber opportunities.

For those who like 'pristine' courses, this is not for you. For those who love technical courses it is. No open fairways for grip 'n' rip shots. LOTS of restrooms (they're called big trees!).

For a guy like me who enjoys a good hike in the woods, this is a very cool course that is 100% kept up by the locals. Even though it seems like you are miles away from civilization, the truth is you are only a mile away from food/gas et al. I'm giving this course a 4 rather than a 3.5 simply because these good folk simply don't have the financial wherewithal that state or munincipal parks have; so you have to cut em' some slack. It's a very fun/fair course; and if you throw clean, you should have a birdie attempt on just about every hole!

Muldraugh is a heavily wooded disc golf course near Ft. Knox that sits in a big sink hole. The course offers a variety of shots: anhyzers, hyzers, up-hill, down-hill, and many of the combinations. Most of the tees have some kind of bench be it an actual bench, tree stumps, or in the case of one hole, a back seat from a van. Most of the holes have a garbage can nearby. The course makes one big loop through the sink hole. This course gets better each time I play it. Hole 1 has a mando through a tunnel which is a real treat! Shot placement is key and errant shots are usually punished. This course will give you a workout and test your accuracy on each hole! Tee signs with distance are now in place which bumps this course to a 4 for me.

The pros definitely outweigh the cons. We noticed several helicopters flying over head which reminds you that Ft. Knox sits nearby. The setting inside a sinkhole makes this course so unique. This is a great course to play!

The only place in the world where your first shot of the day is underneath the road. Reallt challenging course with thick woods. Lots of elevation changes, deep creeks and ravines.

Dont throw in the creeks, extreamly hard to get in and out of.

Dont particularly like the course but I seem to shoot better scores here than anywhere else.
