The biggest pro was that I played it during one of my absolute favorite music festivals Wakarusa. The energy that is flowing through the place makes throwing a round extra special, most carefree round of disc golf I've ever played.

It's a short open course that plays around 3 ponds with a few trees. It's got some good elevation change shots where you're playing off of hills. The ponds are at different elevations and the course sits in the main festival area which is on top of Mulberry Mtn. in the Ozarks. It's absolute gorgeous scenery.

It's one of the few courses where no teepads and signs actually adds to the course, makes it fit in with the environment more. It does have numbers labeling where you tee off from.

The three or four shots that are off the ridges are really fun throws, other than that it's just a bunch of wide open shots where the only obstacles were festival goers.

Not much variety really, the entire course is set in one small area of the venue and doesn't use the vast amount of forest area it could. It wasn't really built as a serious disc golf course, probably more for family entertainment when festivals aren't going on there.

None of the holes are over the ponds which is kind of a drag considering it loops around them.

Normally I'd put no teepads and signs in this area but as I said to me it fits the area, if you feel differently that will be a con for you.

I would rate this course higher if I could base it on the overall feel of Wakarusa but if you play it during non-festival times it's not that much of a course so I'm trying to rate it honestly and give it a 2.

Mulberry Mountain is one my absolute favorite places in the world. If you are ever even close to it I encourage you to go, disc golf or not. It's got a ton of trails that wind through the Ozarks, waterfalls, awesome rivers.. it's amazing.
