Pros:

Course was in decent shape compared to many other reviewers.

A few very good holes

Cons:

One basket down

No tee's marked for the most part

A couple of simple boring holes

Other Thoughts:

Ok, I was not expecting much when I read the reviews of this course.
As you can see, I played it in March and the grass was actually mowed on the whole course. It looked like they even did a controlled burn of the underbrush on holes 1 and 2 area. This cleared off the tee areas for hole 2, the stone markers were even still in place.

The OG hole 1 is not even playable from what I could tell, I played the UDisc layout as close as I could.

I uploaded pictures of all the UDisc tee's and from the basket looking back. You will notice that hole 4's basket was laying on the ground. It honestly looked like it has been there for a while considering I could not see the hole it came out of.

The holes worth playing are 5 to 9, these are actually pretty decent holes. I really like hole 6 and this would make a good safari hole playing from 5's tee box to 6's basket.

This holds true for hole 7 too, this is a mostly open hole with the basket tucked into the edge of the woods on your right. Hole 8 is a straighforward open shot to the dam for the lake. But a safari hole from 7's tee to 8's basket would be a decent hole.

Hole 9 was a decent tweener hole up the hill tucked back behind the edge of some tree's. Decent shot just out of my range. I would have liked to tee off from the side of the dam, looked, but didn't see any markers up there. I almost threw from there just for the fun of it.

In general, there is no reason to pay to play here. It's a simple out of date and run down 9 hole course. After playing it at the end of winter, I would recommend trying to hit this course before the grass starts to grow. Otherwise you are going to spend a lot of time searching for discs in the high grass.

Would I play here again? Not in the current condition the course is in. PLEASE, Natchez Disc Golfers, I know you just got a decent 18 hole course, but you really should work with the State Park and upgrade this course and redesign it so it's playable and maybe they will let you expand it to 18 in the woods.
