Pros:
This is a good course for beginners. All of the holes are pretty much straight approaches with just enough trees scattered throughout the course to make you concentrate on keeping your shots straight. Hole #3 is an easy opening shot across the water, but you still have to be careful. Holes 7-10 are having you throwing along the water, so you have to concentrate on your shot. The water is always to your right, though, so stick with a straight flying disc and RHBH shots.
Cons:
The holes are a bit narrow and if crowded you can find your discs in the middle of someone else's fairway while they are getting ready to shoot. And when it gets crowded holes can back up real quickly. If you are a beginner and taking lots of shots offer to let others play through.
For a beginner the water can eat up your discs. Some sort of a retrieval device can come in really handy.
Other Thoughts:
As a beginner I found the course to be fun and challenging and will play there as often as possible.
