Pros:

Lots of various types of shots
Short and long holes
Some open fairways for long drives
Holes through trees for technicality
Can be played in an hour
Gorgeous location
Well maintained

Cons:

Not a ton of holes for smashing drives

Other Thoughts:

Awesome medium sized course, this is my go-to course in Fayetteville area. It's definitely the best in the Fayetteville/Springdale/Rogers area.

Best in Springdale, AR area 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 28, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

Cement tee boxes.
Full 18 holes.
Good signage.
Good mix of obstacle and open.
Only a couple of disc-eater holes.

Cons:

Grounds could use a little better drainage in many areas to keep the mud down, but at least there were some boardwalks in place in some of the worst places.

Other Thoughts:

I think this course offers the best experience for golfers of my skill level in the Springdale, AR area.
The cement tees really are a plus for an enjoyable game (even if the fairways are a little soggy).

Good enough 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 26, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

The layout is fairly easy to navigate and they mix of holes is great. It seems every open holes is balanced by a more technical hole. The use of the land was impressive. Some of the holes along the lake provided an extra challenge since they were wooded and were conducive to losing discs in the water.

Cons:

The park, when even slightly wet, becomes completely swampy and flooded. some of the tees, like hole 5 and 2, were difficult to access without getting soaked shoes. some of the open shots are a bit redundant, since half of the course revolves around one large-ish field.

Other Thoughts:

I enjoyed by quick round here. I was suprised by this course. When I drove up it didn't look very promising but as I found my way through it was more and more enjoyable. hole 7 was beautiful (i birdied it too), among others. Overall, It's not the best course I've seen, but if you are in the area, it doesn't hurt to stop by and play a round.

Pros:

Great balance of techincal and open holes.
Clear sinage to next hole except hole 1
MOST holes have distances at tbox

Cons:

A few holes were a little confusing (until you got close) with multiple baskets in general area.
Basket on 16 broken - doesn't sit straight/even.

Other Thoughts:

Excellent mix of technical/wooded shots and open "bomb" holes. Even the open holes utilized trees to add some challenge (basket behind at varying distances/ slightly in the woods). Very visually appealing course with the lake directly behind several baskets (far enough not to be a "disc vaccum"). Surprisingly, the wind was basically calm even though it is a lake course. Pretty busy with other activities (biking, dogs, jogging) on a Sunday morning but the other people were very courteous for the most part and didnt disrupt the round. Loved hole 7 - the longer "tunnel" shot! Would definately recommend this course.

Northshore... 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jul 11, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

Good scenery, right next to the lake. Good balance of wooded/open holes. A few more open than wooded. Hole 7 is awesome with trees on both sides throughout the 450 ft. hole. Concrete tee pads are in good condition. Signs are at most tees, but a few of them are knocked down or missing. Innova DisCatchers in fairly good condition. Navigation is easy. I found all 18 baskets and tees, but a few (13 and 7) are a little difficult to find.

Cons:

No trash cans or benches (except a log or two). Hole 1 doesn't have a tee sign so it isn't as easy to find as it should be. Message board at the front of the course doesn't have very much information. A few holes (such as 1 and 12) seem overly wooded. I was asking myself if it was an actual hole. Some holes can get muddy. Some of the baskets have been signed (some of them because someone got a birdie(who signs for a birdie?)) and bikers/walkers can get in the way.

Other Thoughts:

This course is very fun to play. I would definitely play this one again.

Pros:

A decent layout with mostly all reacable holes. A nice mix of wooded holes and wide open hyzers. And now has concrete tee pads!!!! They are a sight of beauty.

Cons:

Keep it in the fairway or ya may lose your disc the schule eats up some plastic. Water doesn't really come into play.

Other Thoughts:

Its a nice challenging course but still needs some more TLC.

My home course... 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jul 2, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Plays around a man made lake in a well used park. There is a decent mix of shots as well as varied hole lengths. Brand new concrete tees trimmed with mulch are beautiful. Challenging without being too much work. Water fountains (for you and your dog) and restrooms are located right next to the course. Multiple pins on a few holes provide a little change from play to play.

Cons:

There are teesigns, but they have little more than the hole number on them. Most are damaged or missing. The terrain is a bit overgrown and jungle-like in areas. This can make it tough to find your disc even if the shot was decent. The baskets are starting to show their age. They are still in decent shape, but are beginning to lean or are bent in areas. They used to be single chain, and somone added the inner chains to them. They do catch well though. Could use a few more trash cans, although there isn't a lot of trash on the course. A few trees could stand to be removed to make some of the holes less about luck and more about skill. The hole 12 long pin is really ridiculous. A lot of the little bushy trees near the short pin should be removed to make the long pin more playable. A few of the holes (8, 9 15, 16,) are wide open with just one tree between the tee and pin.

Other Thoughts:

This is a decent course overall, but with a little work it could stand out more. A lot of the cedar trees on the course have been trimmed up, and the city has been mowing more of the course more often. Still needs a lot of trimming, but the way things are improving here it seems it will get done. This course does see a lot of traffic. It seems there is always someone out there. It is a shame that this is the ONLY course in Fayetteville.

Pros:

Good shot variety. 1/3 Open, 1/3 limited path, and 1/3 is some of the shortest, but tightest holes you will ever play.

Cons:

One single elevation. Can get very busy.

Other Thoughts:

A few of the tight holes are right on the edge of the lake. Kicking off of a tree into the lake is a very real possibility.
