Pros:
Elevation and being a disc golf only property (almost) stand this course out from the vast majority of nine hole courses I've ever played. Although more than half the course shares the same fairway, which is a drainage ditch with a bridge at the bottom, none of the holes feel repetitive here. There are few holes that show it self to you over time - hole one being my favorite. A sort of double fairway with a similar landing zone, right off the bat you must decide on which route and which shot; do I go with a RHFH flex? RHBH with little fade? A roller and risk going farther down the hill but avoiding trees and branches? Although listed at 270 feet and downhill this is a well designed hole that brings the trees and branches into play. Hole two does something similar but also different and enjoyable and now slightly uphill. The course is pretty open with only a few scattered tress but brought into play nicely as referenced in hole one. The downhill holes though short are quite fun and only a few of them are really easy. It's not just 'throw down/across a hill and tap in for birdie' there are decisions and precisions to make and execute for intermediate players.
All of the extras are here: Good tee signs, baskets, a very large course map, bathrooms (porto-potties) even scorecards are available at the parking area. I played it in the rain and really appreciated all of the fresh wood chips around the basket. Navigation is simple, look for the large tee signs with the correct number on them and check out the sweet graphics showing the hole.
Other Thoughts:
This place is designed well. There are few issues with the design of the course, the only thing really holding this place back from being rated higher for me is a completely different, larger property which would be a different course altogether. This was one of my favorite nine hole course experiences.
