The original intended fairway on 18 goes forward off the tee 1/3rd of the way, then essentially takes a 90 degree bend to the left for the remaining 2/3rds. However, most folks have studied their Pythagorean Theorem, and angle across the tee, trying to sneak straight across the hypotenuse at the green. If you try it, and do kick off one of the gnarly pines, your best bet is to get your second to that approach fairway even if you have to sacrifice the par. I know, it looks like you can reach the green, but the trees might have other ideas!
