Pros:
My home course is basically bulldozed out of the woods, so this review is probably slanted towards the positive. It is very scenic, clean, good signage, nice baskets and tee pads. I thought the design was well thought out utilizing multiple lines and shots with two tee pads and two baskets on each hole. It was a good mix of hyzer/straight/turnover or rhfh flick shots. Everything is par three even if it is 440ft. I like it. I only throw 300-320, but I think a good long par 3 that takes a great shot to birdie is a good thing. Wide open off the tee but having to navigate trees/bushes many with a low ceiling closer to the basket. There was enough variety to keep me interested.
Cons:
Some direction about which tee box you are going to on next hole would be a good addition. No big deal but many times I walked to the next box and then had to walk to the correct one for me since this is essentially a 9 hole course with two distinct tee pads to make it a 18 hole course. There was nothing else negative for me.
Other Thoughts:
Overall I loved it. Beautiful neighborhood and course. I will play here every time I can when I'm in Charleston.
