Pros:
- Ace runs throughout
- Someone has spent lots of time with small signs for the tee #s and the next tee arrows. Note there is no traditional tee sign but they aren't needed. I don't need to know if this one is 155' or 165'.
- A good place for a putter only round (i ran through throwing 2 putters to get a quick 18 in).
- Virtually no chance of lost discs
- Course does a pretty good job avoiding playgrounds & side walks for such a small park.
- A nice easy course to bring a true beginner to.
Cons:
- Very short (<200' avg) and not much challenge
Other Thoughts:
- There were signs for a second set of tees for 10-18 playing to the same baskets. I didn't have the time to try them so I can't comment on quality. This could be a pro if done well....or a con if not...especially if there were multiple groups playing it could get messy.
- I played mid day during a school day so the park was almost completely empty. I'd imagine during peak times there could be a lot of activity to avoid throughout the park.
- Overall - this course is executed well for what it was intended - just be sure you view it for what it is - a short, easy 9. Looking to have a ton of ace runs, great. Looking to get a beginner out for a fun time, great. Want a challenging day of DG....not so much.
