Pros:

The course plays through a small flat park along a river. A few holes bring the water into play on errant shots, adding a little bit of fun risk to those holes. One green has the water in play, so you have to make some decisions on going for long putts. There are some nice mature trees in play on most holes to encourage some different lines, and a road ob also makes a few holes a little tricky. There are two sets of tees that offer longer and shorter looks for different levels of players, and the course is easy to follow.

Cons:

The safety issues here are pretty bad. The park road comes into play, though at least there's good visibility to see if cars are in range. Many holes play through or over playgrounds and picnic areas, so if the park was in use at all several of the shots would be unplayable. If players with less etiquette ignore those conflicts and play through anyway, it could lead to serious issues. The layout of the course isn't bad for the space available, but it's a mostly open flat piece of land so it just doesn't have any challenging or exciting shots.

Other Thoughts:

Beginners will find some challenges with large trees to avoid and water in play on really errant shots. More experienced players won't be tested, it's short and doesn't call for any real line shaping. I hate seeing courses put in with no thought to how it will interact with other park patrons. It gives us a bad image when inconsiderate discers through into other groups, and can easily result in pulled courses and towns hesitant to put in future courses.
