Pros:
I've never played or seen a course filled with so many unique layouts as this one. There's the "island" in the parking lot for hole 2, the "tunnel" of trees that make up most of hole 3, the "pond" at hole 15, and the "hallway" of cedar trees on hole 18 just to name a few. There are many trees throughout this park that set you up for some tricky drives and approach shots on a lot of the holes. The woods come into play on a few holes, and, as mentioned earlier, there's also a pond that comes into play on one hole. There are also some baseball fields near a couple holes that serve as obstacles. There are even some OB's to top it off. There are multiple basket locations on each hole, and some of them are different enough that they altar the layout of that hole somewhat, which adds to the variety of this course. Some holes tend to favor forehand throws, while others tend to favor backhand throws. Overall, this course can really test your skills with each throw. The signage at each tee pad is helpful. Overall, the course is in great shape and has a great looking design.
Cons:
As fun as this course may be, there are a few small issues here and there. It's not obvious where to go to get to holes 12 and 17 (I know there's a bulletin board in the park that includes a map of the course, but I'm not sure how many people notice it when they first show up to play), and it's also a long walk to get from hole 16 to hole 17. There are two or three holes that seem to have a little too many obstacles in the way, making it a little too difficult to get a good score on them unless you're a real accurate thrower. There are a few holes with woods near the fairway and they can be real nasty to walk into if you have to look for your disc in there. Also, I've seen a little bit of poison ivy around the wooded areas.
Other Thoughts:
Overall, this is a very fun and unpredictable course, and it's easily one of my favorites. Each hole has it's own unique layouts and challenges that players will enjoy playing. It may have a few small issues, but overall it's a great course, and the design is near perfect.
