More of a Hike 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 29, 2005 Played the course:once

Pros:

Challenging, some unique downhill holes.

Cons:

Thick rough, narrow fairways, very steep hills. At times it was hard to walk the course- very steep hills on a narrow dirt trail. I felt like I was backpacking the Appalachian Mtns. instead of playing Disc Golf. There were times that if you got off the "fairway" you might never get back.

The notes about this course being overgrown would only make it that much more difficult to play.

Other Thoughts:

I managed ok, but I had 3 friends with me, and they absolutely despised this course. 2 of them were ready to quit and go back to the car. We nicknamed this course "goat track."

With a lot of work clearing fairways, adding safer bridges, lots of stairs (maybe hand rails!), this might be an ok course, but it needs some work.

There are so many awesome courses in this area- I would skip this, unless you are in good shape and looking for a big time challenge.

Pros:

Hole ten one of a kind down hill hole.

Cons:

Not taken care of the slightest was one of my favorite courses cause no one is ever there. If grass is present it is waist high. Most holes are on side of hill and do not take advantage of elevation changes.

Other Thoughts:

The parks need to allow a redesign and help with maintance, unless your up for a hike and searching for your disc not a good course.
