Pros:

Hole Variety/Course Layout-
This is for sure a technical course, but a couple open holes at the start help warm you up for the intense woods and hills. Also most of the holes are pretty short but theres a few long ones in there. The hills are used well to make some really unique holes.

Cons:

Course Maintenance-
There are no tee pads here, a couple holes will have you wishing there were (hole # 10 for example). Also when I went it was a little muddy, and the mix of slippery mud and steep hills could for sure be a hazard to people without the best balance.

-I went in early spring and even then there were a few holes with overwellming thrick brush in spots, I can imagine this course gets pretty overgrown in late summer.

Other Thoughts:

-I had a really good time at Pride Park, we ended up playing it twice. I was told to stay away from this course before I came, but I had a feeling I was going to like it and did! I can understand why some people wouldnt like this course though, it is very tight in spots.

I'm a fan of this course 2+ years drive by

Pros:

-This place will make you work for every shot and make you a better player.
I did pretty bad at Pride and went over to Lincoln Ridge and kicked ass. Pride is harder then Lincoln Ridge IMO and that's saying something.

- Memorable Holes:

3's tee is behind an old family cemetery. You have too toss over the cemetery without hitting the metal fence around it or hitting the tree limbs above. (the fence isn't shown in the photo, must have been from before they put the fence in.) There is a gate on the cemetery if your disc goes in.

10 is a monster of a down hill shot.

11 and 13 cross a pretty deep valley which is a total bitch to climb down in and out of.

-There are several holes where you can toss your disc into a deep banked creek with thick weeds and bushes, or a valley. Upon doing so you will be very angry as its not real easy to climb up and down some of the banks. However this will only make you work harder to make smart tosses. You will pay for dumb ones. Plus its fun to laugh at your friends as they take the walk of shame down into hell yelling and screaming all the way.

-No one else was playing when we were there.

Cons:

-I played in spring and the grass wasn't as bad as it sounds in mid summer, but its was still knee high in places.

-There are a few banks that could use steps or a bridge.

-This course is only for those in decent shape, who don't mind climbing banks and going up and down steep hills.

-It wouldn't be hard to lose a disc. It's a very good idea to have people spot your tosses at this park.

Other Thoughts:

I think the previous reviews of this course are a bit harsh.

Even with the maintenance problems this course is at the very least good. If for nothing else its good for the challenge level it presents as well as the uniqueness of some of its holes.

Id say its the hardest course around Cincinnati / Northern KY (except for Idlewild). It will improve your game.

all kinds of crazy 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 15, 2008 Played the course:never

Pros:

noones hardly ever there, nice scenic park, difficult, unique holes

Cons:

grass is always wild, insanely dense woods, terribly maintained, lots of lost discs.

Other Thoughts:

definitely worth playing once, its a hell of a course, with a little bit of chainsaws, mowers and redesign it could be one of the best around.
