Pros:

It's hard to accurately review a six hole practice course, as it isn't supposed to be super star caliber, but this has it's place. However, a place like this should not be stand alone, but rather on the same property of a quality course.

The Pyramids Pink course starts right outside the exit of the Marshall Street Pro Shop, meaning you can step right out of the door and dial in the new putter.

The Pink Gateway Bullseye baskets are visible, and test your putting accuracy, making every green very demanding.

For six holes, there is a good variety in lines, with straight putter shots, right fading, left turning, downhill, uphill.

Cons:

The rubber tees are actually very nice, however, for a practice course, I would actually recommend having a variety of different footings, a downhill lie, maybe one with roots, etc. That way, you are testing the footing on what most of your approach shots will actually be.

While the Bullseye Baskets are great for putting practice, they don't catch everything, especially shots thrown with any power, making a possible "ace" unlikely.

Other Thoughts:

This is a short review, for a short course :)

I wouldn't play this course if it was standing alone, but in tandem with the Pyramids course, as well as another solid course a little bit down the road (I think you know what I am referring to), then this is a great place to warm up. Free to play if you buy something from the huge pro shop on site, which is definitely worth browsing!

Pros:

The baskets have only one set of inner chains with the pole, so your accurate putting range shrinks. You get some good putting practice, kind of like when you practice free throws on one of those hoops with a smaller diameter.

Navigation isn't too hard because the holes are so short. The average hole is about 110 feet. The design is actually pretty good, and several of the holes have multiple lines to the basket.

There are tee signs and pads for every hole, although the pads are short.

Cons:

At six holes, this stretches the definition of a course. It's more of a novelty, which isn't a bad thing at all. It kind of fits the vibe of Marshall St and Pyramids.

Other than the putting aspect, there isn't much noteworthy.

Other Thoughts:

If you buy something at Marshall St (which is about 10 feet from the first tee pad), you can play this for free. But this isn't the course you came for. There is too much fun to be had on the silver and gold courses to spend more than a few minutes on the pink one.
