Pink by Victoria's Secret 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 27, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

6 rubber tees with 6 pink powder coated Bullseye baskets playing through the woods. Nice tee signage and super easy to navigate. Holes have variety in lines and elevation. Only need a putter to play the entire course. Fun factor playing for aces and watching close calls. Portapotties by parking lot.

Cons:

Only six holes and all holes play about the same distance.

Other Thoughts:

I went to the sweet Marshall Street pro shop first thing after a 2hr drive and bought way too much plastic, and any $4+ purchase allows you to play the Pink course for free, otherwise it's a dollar to play.

So the Pink course was my warmup for the big boy course and on my first throw of the day, I aced hole #1! I didn't know about the ace pot at the time until one of the guys that saw asked if I was in it. I also nearly aced hole #6 as well, was an inch to low. I later aced #15 short basket on the big boy course with the same Banger GT.

It's hard to rate these short Tiki style courses and especially only being 6 holes. The challenge factor is kind of low, but I'd give the course an B for effort. It's got all the amenities you can ask for and a fun play and great warmup for the big boy course.

Mental Prep 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 15, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

- it's a warm up course.
- It's a fun, and actually challenging due to the bullseye baskets being only the inner chains. Makes even inside the circle putts feel uneasy.
- the pink bullseye baskets are easy to see (especially since they are only 100ish feet away, lol)
- There is a standing ace pot here at Marshall street if you pay in. I think this is the neatest thing about the course actually.
- the amenities of Marshall street and pyramids are all right there, which means on site a good real 18.

Cons:

- it's pay to play (unless you buy something in the pro shop, then it's free which is what I did)
- it's only 6 holes and takes only 10 minutes to play which is really good or bad depending on how you see it.

Other Thoughts:

This course is what it is and it does what it supposed to do. Marshall street gives you a net to warm up drives in. A putting field to warm up putts. And a tiny 6 hole course with pink bullseye baskets to warm up for the mental aspect. They even add an ace pot (which is much harder to hit than you would think) to make it fun.

I played this course before playing Pyramids and then Maple Hill (which is less than a mile away) and what a great way to warm up for the day. Really gets your focus straight, but I can't really rate it better than a 2, because... it's a 6 hole practice course with a gimmick. But a great one.
