Do not throw your favorites 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 23, 2008 Played the course:never

Pros:

There are usually only a couple groups on the course at once. It is very challenging and there is a good variety of distances available; the dual tees actually make a difference here. Every hole is unique and different from the last.
Also multiple basket placements (though over two years I've never seen them moved).
New signage at the beginning of the course (but still very confusing; try to play with someone who knows the course).
Good course for some disc turnaround - we lost 2 today, but found 2 others - so don't throw your favorites.

Cons:

Most fairways are extremely narrow, bordered by thick, tall brush, often 4'+. Tall grass throughout the remaining open areas often hides discs expertly.
Though the small sections chosen to be well-kept always are, much of the course should really be cut back (or clear cut) to keep players sane.

Other Thoughts:

This is a skill-shot course. It is absolutely necessary to walk the hole, if not the whole course, before you throw. Play conservatively and you might not lose a disc.
And leave yourself time to play here - mainly to find your discs.
A great place if you plan on making regular visits, but otherwise it'll be a distressing game.
