Not Fargo's Finest 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 4, 2020 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

+It has 9 nice baskets.
+It does have a fun water hole. You can totally go for it over the pond or you have the option to go around if you aren't comfortable with the distance.
+More elevation than most of Eastern ND has. One blind hole over a hillside.
+Some decent length variation. Most are on the shorter side but 2 are around 300 and one has to be 400+.
+Tees are marked (see cons)
+Ace runs on 6 holes for most players.

Cons:

-Signage is non-existent. There used to be some but it was probably knocked out by vandals and never replaced.
-Very open. More baskets than trees. This can make the wind horrendous. I've played a few times when I'm in town for work as this is one of the closer courses to company HQ. It has been very windy and fairly calm.
-Tees are quite small and warped. They are at least there so you know where to throw from but they aren't great for the longer holes.
-Some man-made obstacles like fences. Not my favorite obstacles.

Other Thoughts:

+I've really only played this course due to proximity to where I've been in Fargo and because I'm a bagger. Only play here if those reasons apply to you too.
+Fun factor is overall pretty low. I would throw a few discs on the water hole but overall, a pretty bland round.
+This course is better than the other one in the same park, I'll review that one at some point here.

Pitch and Putt 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 5, 2013 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Low traffic
Holes 4 and 5

Cons:

Too short
No trees
Too easy

Other Thoughts:

This course has 3 holes that make it worth playing when you have few options. One is a blind shot over a small hill around 300 feet on hole 4. The next is a shot over a pond on hole 5 again around 300. Hole 8 appears to be over 400 feet and is the longest. It has a left bending dog leg around the fence of a baseball field. This course is better than not playing, but if you have access to Oak Grove or Woodlawn there is no reason to play this course other than just being able to say you took it off your list.

Pros:

-Some blind shots
-One hole has you shooting over a water hazard which can be a challenge

Cons:

-No signage
-It can get confusing trying to find the next tee box
-Very windy location as it was built in the middle of a field

Other Thoughts:

If you are going to visit Rendezvous this is the course you want to play.
