I'd play it again now that I know 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 28, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

Mostly open
Shot to medium length wholes

Cons:

No signs showing basket placement or where to go to next tee
Front 9 plays away from back 9
Had to ask other disc golfers where to go and what basket to play
Tee 7 to basket 7 and tee 9 to basket 9 cross and aren't clearly labeled
Had to walk 1/2 mile from basket 9 to tee 10

Other Thoughts:

I got lost from tee 11 to 12
Tee 12 is under a tree and covered in leaves

Eh... 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 15, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Easy to find.
-Decent baskets, concrete teepads.

Cons:

-Trash on course (see other thoughts).
-Like any north valley course, it gets HOT in the summer.

Other Thoughts:

A few holes had a bit more trash than I'm used to seeing. Suppose it could have been an anomaly, but some of it like broken glass mixed into the dirt and rocks looked like it had been there a while. I may play it again but it just doesn't compare to other courses nearby.

This Course Is Mostly Gone! 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 5, 2010 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Good warm up for the South Course. Intermediate players will find it easy to get a couple birdies on these eight or nine (depending on how you play em). You can play it in any weather, and it would also be a good place to take a novice thrower.

Cons:

Only nine holes from this course still exist, the rest have been removed by the park. In my opinion these holes should be toughened up a bit, re-numbered, and officially added to the South Course.

Other Thoughts:

This is basically an abandoned course that lots of people still play. Makes for a nice round of 27 if you play these first and pick up the South Course on hole number 8, playing back to hole 7 which is closer to the parking lot.

Not As Good Anymore 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 16, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

A good warmup or continuation into the REAL course - the south course.

Cons:

Much of the original north course, including several of the back 9, have been removed or altered as new park construction came later. Those altered holes have been shortened and aren't nearly as fun as the old course, which I would have given a 3.5 rating. Now, too many short holes.

Other Thoughts:

After the soccer field is constructed, hopefully the local disc golf club will reinstall the back 9 to its former glory. The photos are from the old course.
