Well, It's A Start 2+ years

Pros:

This is a beginner to intermediate level course. There I said it, I would count this as a course as opposed to a practice area. Either way, it's incomplete and needs some work. (See below).

4 holes down, 3 holes back (2 are basket to basket) make a total of 7 playable holes.

Baskets - The baskets here are amazing. Even though there are only 4, they are the highlights of this course. Very nice, new, and grippy.

Tees - Although hole 1 doesn't have one, there are 4 tees at this course. Holes 2-5 have tees that have a wooden frames that are 4 x 8. Inside is natural grass, gravel, or dirt depending on holes.

Variety - Course is mostly open, hole 1 is heavily guarded, hole two is long with a creek on the side, hole 3 is open with a small pond bordering it, hole 4 is open. Tee for 5 turns you around to play back to start. Hole 5 is open. Hole 6 (basket to basket from hole 3/5's basket) is guarded on the right side but mostly open. Hole 7 (basket to basket from hole 2/6's basket) is open where you have to dodge s few trees.

There is potential here. Enough room to make a 9 hole loop around the pond.

Only course in area set in a small town park. Closest course is Boondock Farms. It introduces the locals to the sport, if they can find the holes and know what they are.

Cons:

No signs whatsoever. No hole numbers, tees are not marked, no map, no reference of disc golf at the park. Signs would do wonders to this course, potential to be a 2 or a 2.5 but needs to add 5 more baskets, tees, and signs for each hole.

Hole 1 doesn't have a tee pad. Tees start at hole 2. Without a starting tee pad, it's hard to have a strong impression of the course.

Pond overflows easily. The basket for hole 3/5 can be unplayable due to soggy ground if water levels high. Also, tee for 4 would be unplayable.

95% open meaning the only challenges are wind, water, and distance.

Other Thoughts:

It has baskets, it has tee pads, there are 7 playable holes, although some are basket to basket, in my opinion it's a course, but a poor one at that in its current state. It is passable as a course but I can't find myself giving it a 1.5 in its current state.

It needs some investment. Would not take much money to make some simple signs, simple tees, and to even expand. The potential is there, any investment of money even as low as $100 would give this signs and boxed tees. If the designer hunted me down, I would happily donate money to complete this course. I feel like someone started this course and gave up hope. It needs to be completed.

For the time being, I would recommend skipping this course unless you find yourself in Rushville, Indiana and would like to see it.
