Reviewed: Played on:Sep 26, 2017 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Located in a very quiet park, never extremely busy
All holes had nice Innova disc catcher baskets and were easy to see from the "tee"
Nice variety of different shots required to manage the course
Course predominantly ran through the woods of the park(I tend to like wooded courses, its more scenic than wide open grass fields)
Bathrooms are located near the beginning of the course

Cons:

Course was extremely difficult to navigate (if you Google the course a map shows up showing the out lay of the course)
There is not a parking lot near the beginning of the course, just a pavilion that is rented out near the beginning, parking is on the street
Tees are extremely difficult to find as they are only 2 white rocks placed in the ground that have the hole number written on them in black paint
There is not a level and debris free place to throw tee shots from, tee shots are thrown from worn dirt patches on the ground
There were no tee signs that indicated there was a hole there, mostly found the tees from stumbling on to the pin for the hole I was searching for and had to walk back up the fairway to search for the white rocks
Fairways on many of the holes are extremely narrow and have down trees in them creating a safety hazard
The "rough" on the outskirts of the fairway mostly consists of brambles(suggest wearing pants as my legs were mauled because I was in shorts)
There was no directional indicator that pointed you in the general direction of the "tee pad" mostly had to follow worn pathways that lead from the hole out of the woods

Other Thoughts:

What would make this course a 3 or 3.5 for me is if they would put actual concrete tee pads in place and include a tee sign and maybe a bench on each hole(there is a lot of walking on this course with a lot of up and down hills). Another thing they could use is a sign that indicates that there is a disc golf course there with a course map on it. Fairways could be widened up so that not everyone holes is an alley way. Most of the fairway is covered in fallen leaves and other debris from the trees, this makes the course very slick and dangerous to navigate. Bringing in wood chips or bringing in some grass seed would improve this greatly. For hole navigation wooden brightly colored signs attached to the trees would help new players to the course navigate the maze of deer trails that run through this course confusing what leads to the next pad. I understand this is a lot to ask of a brand new course that was installed only a couple of years ago but since this course is in my hometown I'd like to see it realize it's full potential.
