Pros:

Very tranquil for several of the holes, as they're tucked into the woods.

Baskets are brand new and properly installed.

Temporary tee signs indicating the hole number, along with cement blocks flush with the ground indicating the precise tee location.

Challenging course with some super tight fairways in the woods. Straight, hyzer, and anhyzer drives required.

Excellent usage of elevation and terrain.

Not really a boring hole on the course, and a few holes could be considered signature holes.
Hole 1: Dramatic elevation change upward once you enter the woods.
Hole 2: Dramatic elevation change back down on your way out of the woods.
Hole 3: Could almost be considered a peninsula shot with the Rock River 30 feet past the pin and a very shallow "bay" to the left of the pin.
Hole 9: Longer (350') with dramatic elevation change down hill. The first half or two thirds of this hole is pretty tight and heavily wooded then ends flat and open.
Hole 15: Plays over a little bit of a gully. The gully (very small one in the wooded holes as well) were completely dry while I was there, but this one was a little overgrown.
Hole 16: Up a prairie area with only a walking path fairway cut short.
Hole 17: Kind of plays along a ridge and still prairie like hole.

Cons:

Hole signs do not (yet) have distances or hole layout.

Natural tee pads.

Navigation is extremely difficult without a map, but with a map definitely navigable.

Short foliage on wooded holes (not really thick enough to lose a disc if you watch it closely).

No benches or trash cans (temporary trash bags hanging near some tees).

Other Thoughts:

This course is new, so things like better signage and tees may be something currently in the works.

My review is of the current course, I am trying not to introduce any bias on what the course has potential to become. In my opinion the current course is about a 4.3 out of 5. If it had cement tees, better signage, trash cans, and benches this would be more like a 4.8.

There are no long holes to really stretch out a drive, but I don't think that would be the right feel for this course.

2 or 3 holes play very close to the park road. This wasn't an issue for me and the time I was playing (4 PM on a Friday), but if the park were busier I could see having to time a drive so you don't risk hitting a car (I didn't see any mandos).

A couple blind holes, but I was fairly comfortable throwing by myself once I walked up the hole a bit to see how it ends.

Nothing really indicating where to park. I saw a few cars parked on the East side of the "round-a-bout" so I parked there without issue. I did see some signs in other places indicating no parking.

Bring a map and allow a little extra time to look at hole before you throw and also as the next tee is often a few minute walk.
