Pros:

Beautiful, Challenging, Not much traffic, Shot variety, Hole length Variety, Great Tee Pads and Benches, Great locals, Hot Sauce shop in Friday Harbor.

Cons:

Some Holes are THICK (i.e. 14)

Other Thoughts:

This is my favorite course in Washington. Its a bit of an adventure to get here, which makes it all the better. I've always driven or brought my motorcycle across on the ferry, but I hear its pretty easy to hitch a ride to the course if you flash some discs. Plan on making it a day or better yet, stay for a few. The course is not close to stores so stock up on what you need in Friday Harbor before you go. Cant say enough good about my experiences here. It is a "must play" in Wa.
