Pros:
The course is reasonable for beginners to play since it is fairly open, but the distance provides a bit of challenge for better players. There is never a long walk from one basket to the next tee. The scenery is very nice. Concrete tees. Convenient to the highway.
Cons:
There are usually more than one basket visible from each tee, so it was sometimes confusing where I was supposed to be throwing. No signage or tee numbers. The holes don't have a ton of character, so there are no signature holes that would really draw you to this course.
Other Thoughts:
Honestly, the course makes good use of the space that is there and provides a nice complement to Rooster Rock West. There's nothing wrong with small courses in parks like this; we could use more of them. If you're driving through and need a quick round, this is a good spot. It's just not one you need to go out of your way to play.
