Locals maintain and use the course regularly.

It exists. IT is easy for us to turn up our noses at the courses that get crammed into wasted spaces like this one. Often, these courses keep sketchy areas from becoming REALLY sketchy. While it's not a destination, playing here might convince the local parks district that DG belongs here, too.

+A few interesting basket placements- 5 and 6 come to mind especially. On others, 1,8,9, they did take advantage of the one tree that they had to work with. They just didn't have much to start with.

+Layout is fairly intuitive. If you have the map from here, you won't get lost at all. Stays away from other things to do at the park.

-P-dogs every where. The creatures themselves aren't so bad and can be entertaining but their holes can be downright dangerous if you don't watch your step.
-This course is quite short with nothing over 300'. It felt pretty repetitve as well.
-Fairly open, only a few trees which were usually right by the basket. No line shaping required.
-Pretty dry, dusty, and barren. Not a lot of grass here.

-This course does have marked tees, baskets, and even a few trees. It is better than most of the school courses around the area.
-I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for this course. It has a bit of fun factor and won't waste a lot of your time if you don't like it. If you are close by, you might as well go for it.

I would honestly never play this again, Ken Caryl is 3-4 miles away with more grass, and tree's to make some holes require accuracy..

This course doesn't offer anything that other courses around don't offer better. I would skip this and go to Conifer, or Ken Caryl. You will hae a better time

nice baskets, nice big cement tee pads, porta potties adjacent to the course, easy to get to from the highway, easy to play a quick round.

they had old dead trees sticking out of praire dog holes as the obstacles other than the fear of a rabid praire dog (i'm sure they're all friendly little praire dogs that just love to be petted) attacking you if one of your shots came to close for comfort as their dens are scattered all over the property. a few trees scattered about on the property.

no navigational design on tee sign to give the first time player at this course a clue of knowing if they're playing the correct hole.

It was another DGC that needs some serious attention to be considered a course to play all the time. i'd skip it and go to Conifer.

Maps available at park office which is at the other end of the baseball fields and park.

Good course for beginners. Good for mid and putt practice if you're more seasoned. You can play 2 games in a row fairly quickly to get in 18. The only place you might lose a disc for a little while is to the left of #9 when the grass is tall.

Trash on the ground most of the time, graffiti on hole markers, and lots of broken glass.

The city needs to bolt the log obstacles together on #7 to keep the nieghborhoodlums from knocking them down all the time.

Park close to the tee pad for #1 or risk errant discs hitting your vehicle.

This DGC needs some love...

This course is good for ace runs, beginners and practicing your putting & approach shots. The man made obstacles made getting to a few holes a bit more challenging. Getting from each basket to the next tee pad was fairly easy to do with out a map with the exception of basket 5 to pad 6. Like most other people said there is no chance to loose a disc here. Looks like some crazy prairie dogs there because some of the asphalt paved paths had been burrowed through by them... The baskets are nice and new and seem to be in good condition. Concrete tee pads improve this course to be something worth playing if you are in the area.

There is a lot of graffiti on this course. The hole markers seem to be the bragging spot for all the course aces. This even carried over to one tee pad. It seems like this course was an afterthough for the space it is in. This course is not on the list of courses to hit in Denver. I think most people that play it and maintain it know this fact, but not every course is champsionship.

This course can be a good warm up if you are coming from the west side of Denver headed down C-470 to Lighthouse.

Easy course. Good for practice or trying out that new fairway driver. No Distance drivers needed. Nice baskets. Easy to navigate.

Short. Yes there are prairie dogs everywhere. The smell is from the horse stables down the road.

Nice view. Easy to get to. Not much traffic on the course. Good for beginners.

Plays fast with little to no chance of losing a disc. Nice concrete tee boxes and baskets in good condition. Onsite porta-potties are present. Seems like minimal chance of pedestrian interference. A couple efforts have been made to add man-made obstacles to increase the difficulty of the course.

Poor signage, most holes have just a simple wooden post that may or may not have the hole number on it, and no distances. Not very interesting visually or from a playability perspective either. Many prairie dog holes, so watch where your step.

This is a very easy course to play and provides little challenge for a player with any experience. There isn't a hole on which a semi-seasoned player should ever take more than a '3'.

My first time through (without a map) I played to basket #6 from tee #8 as that seemed to be the logical flow of the course. You're supposed to follow the walking path from basket #5 to tee #6.

If you want to get a fast round played then Schaefer will suffice, but there are much better courses in the area.
