OK small town course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 22, 2012 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Good sign at hole 1 showing layout. Concrete tee pads (narrow), signage and new baskets on each hole. Easy to navigate. Well manicured on most holes.

Cons:

Not much variety on holes. The short holes are bland. Signs don't designate what is OB - all sorts of other park features come very much into play (holes 4, 6 and 9 come to mind) and there is a good chance of throwing close to another park user on occasion. Hole 9 is super hazardous when the baseball field is being used due to people parking on or near the fairway and left field being well into the throwing lane for everyone.

Other Thoughts:

Pretty good use of the tight park space. Suprisingly nice variety of long and short shots. Try to play it when a baseball game isn't being played. Beginners to intermediate will be challenged by this course while better players may get bored. Course gradually gets harder and then ends on a fairly simple note.
