Pros:
-Surprising length and hole variety for a city park course in a smaller town.
-Nice baskets
-Concrete tees that are a bit narrow but not bad.
-A few ace runs and biridie shots but other holes where you need to work to get a 3.
-A nice mix of obstacles and trees to serve as challenges. They do use fences and buildings while I prefer natural challenges but this course needs a few more challenges.
-A nice course map at the beginning of the course near the large parking lot and nice signs on every hole with all the info you need to know.
-Nicely mowed, cleaned and maintained.
Cons:
-Lots of bugs!
-Tees are a bit narrow as I mentioned but they aren't too bad.
-Some holes may be too close to park functions. Hole 9 runs along the baseball field and hole 4 crosses volleyball, tennis, and playground areas.
-Fences used as an obstacle which I don't really like.
-Could throw your disc in the trees along holes 5 and 6 and there is some underbrush. Could lose a disc in there.
-Some may find the short holes boring but I don't mind an ace run or two on a course.
Other Thoughts:
I was surprised to see how long and well cared for this park appears to be. It is in a small town in my county where there isn't a lot of quality and cared for disc golf courses. I would stop by if in the area but I wouldn't go too far out of my way to play here. It is of good quality for the land they had to work with and for the size of this town.
