Pros:
-nice discatchers
-most tees are marked with yellow posts
-a few trees to work around
-good for beginners, kids, and families
Cons:
-super short
-tons of pedestrians, walking paths, a playground, the road
-a bunch of mandos that will probably be ignored
-sign is gone for tee 2
-"locals only" etched in a few concrete tees... really? you can keep your lame 9 holer
Other Thoughts:
Apparently the first course in Simi Valley, meant to introduce the sport to the community. In my estimation, it does so poorly. This course is really only appropriate for kids; they'll spray discs everywhere but at least they won't be moving very quickly. I did see some families out here so that was cool.
This park is just too small for a course and has too much pedestrian interference. Good for putting practice if you live in the neighborhood but there's no reason not to go 2 miles away to Sycamore Park for a far superior experience. I would hope to see these baskets relocated to a better location in Simi because as it is, it's a disaster waiting to happen.
