Pros:

-Great options for all level of players as there are alt (green) baskets for shorter throws, and often 3 levels of baskets (A, B, C)
-Can do this course without a map (tho one can be helpful) because most tees are a quick path from the last hole
-Fine layout that includes open spaces, mounds of rocks, trees, bushes, some OB
-Mountain town so summer play is possible as it doesn't get too crazy hot (beyond 90) most of the time
-Well maintained course

Cons:

-It's in Pinetop/Lakeside and I live in Tucson :)
-A lot of baskets so it can be a little hard to find the basket sometimes (like #8) and not all the baskets are marked with numbers

Other Thoughts:

This was the last course we played on a tour of New Mexico and I wasn't expecting anything spectacular, but I really liked it. A few "through the trees" holes were a lot of fun, and #11 with a long OB to the left was a nice challenge as well.

If you are traveling to Show Low in summer (especially on a weekend) make campground or hotel reservations ahead of time, because it gets crazy busy with tourists.

Pros:

Big left hand hyzer holes, a lot of challenge, cool setting, once again GREAT for lefties. Most of the course doesn't have much non DG traffic, one hole shoots up towards a baseball diamond and another goes left to right past one. Hole 16 or 17 is an awesome, short putter shot

Cons:

Very dry dust in summer , one hole very short, several blind holes, one hole was in dense brush (watch your disc)

Other Thoughts:

I was here visiting my girlfriends dad in June and show low is great, if you're in the area make sure to visit this course!

Pros:

this cousre is good it challenges you it has its tight techincal fairways were you have to pay smart its very rewarding and at the same time its very frustrating! it doesnt have any real big un reachable holes. most are jsut fairly technical. its a good course if you like to challenge yourself. oh and bring a tree beater for those couple holes.

Cons:

Loads of trees. misplaced shots can make for a hard time. and also a very fun time.

Other Thoughts:

come out and play league every sunday at 9 AM hope to see you all out there!
