Pros:

I couldn't write this any better so I copied it from the website. This 260-acre park features one of the best sandy beaches in southeastern Wisconsin. Excellent swimming areas, picnic areas, bathhouse, concession stand, picnic shelters, lakeside playground equipment, soccer fields, grills windsurfing area, sledding, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, fishing and convenient parking all combine to create a popular getaway on summer days. Nature trails traverse the rolling landscape and reward hikers with a sweeping overview of Silver Lake and the surrounding countryside. The park is located on County Highway "F", one-mile south from State Highway 50. Entry fee charged from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend while lifeguards are on duty.

The park land is awesome and quite a bit better than Grey & Red Fox down the road. Rolling hills and lots of rough. The freshly cleared fairways are pretty to the eye.

Brand New Chainstar baskets.

Tee posts with signs. Hole # only. The flow was very good.

Challenging course where staying in the fairway pays off.

Hole #1 is a really fun downhill hole.

Hole #6 is a great par 4. You have a choice to throw a mid range or driver. The farther you throw the easier the birdie opportunity. If you miss the fairway kiss the birdie goodbye.

Cons:

Currently the tee pads are wood chips. Some are short and difficult to throw from.

The signs are basic with hole #.

I really dislike holes #3 & 8. The are L shape holes to the left. Super tricky lines.

Maybe this will change but holes like 4 & 5 seemed like tweener holes.

Other Thoughts:

The parking area near hole #1 is tricky to find. It's parking lot #5 which is tucked around the corner from #4. Check the park map.

I really hope the back 9 is better as the course is supposed to expand to 18 next year? With being pay to play I prefer the free course down the street.
