My mortal test 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Oct 26, 2014 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Extremely challenging course with a lot of elevation change. The "elevator" hole 8 is a blast to huck downhill at such an extremely open hole with woods behind it. Many other fun holes and not really any gimme deuces. This course is my mortal test and test of my skill in DG. I have consistently scored bad rounds here but its made me a better all around player.

Cons:

Windy days make this course very tough to play well. Lack of detail on course signs, only numbered. Easy enough to navigate but a course map would help to know where the alternate pin placements and tees are. No teepads.

Other Thoughts:

Calm spring and summer days are perfect days to play this course, but bring you OS discs for any windy days, this course will eat up US stuff here unless your going uphill (which is 1/4 of the holes here).

Almost... 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 2, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course seemed to have it all, i was very much looking forward to playing it. Love all the elevation changes, and big shots. Great use of what the trees they had. Would be a nice course to play on a calm day..gl with that one :p

Cons:

No map and a confusing layout meant more time looking for holes than playing, and when i wasn't looking for the next hole i was trying to find my discs. The course is mostly rough, long grass, and bushes with very small cleared fairways and paths. Also watch out for poison ivy, wood ticks.

Other Thoughts:

Don't play this one solo, you will want a spotter. (they do warn you about this on the sign at the start) If you can, play with someone who has been there before, you will save yourself a lot of time. I never ended up finding all 24 holes. I think this course "could" be a lot better.
