Pros:
The campground, beach, and food were excellent! The course is fairly open for the most part and the baskets are in great condition. The terrain is completely flat and very dry. The Mediterranean is visible from some holes!!
Cons:
After looking for the entrance for 10 minutes we had to jump a fence to get onto the course. It turns out the gate was padlocked because they let their horses and llamas roam around freely on the field. This explained the frequent and sizable collections of animal droppings throughout the 'fairways'. The flies that were congregated on the poop, swarmed us and wouldn't leave until we walked the 1/4 mile to the beach.
There was no map of the course! The signs were a mix between numbered posts or large painted rocks and tree stumps. All of the fairways consist of small shrubs and dirt...very little grass.
Other Thoughts:
The staff at the campground is overly friendly. I met the guy that helped design the course. He gave us a ride so we didn't have to walk another mile to the train station.
We enjoyed the resort VERY much, but the only reason to visit this course is to say, "I frolfed Italy."
