Pros:
2 sets of tees and two targets on each hole. Excellent view of Talamone Bay and the castle featured in "Quantum of Solace". There are some nice up and down shots with a fair amount of variety. The resort is very nice and extremely friendly. From camping to luxury lodging. Excellent hiking nearby. Restaurant serves wonderful food. Pool at resort and beach nearby.
Cons:
"Natural" tees and home made baskets that have no business catching as well as they do. Yes, the course resides mostly in an area where horses and llamas roam, which does dictate the occasional cleaning of your favorite driver. There were only 12 targets at the time of the redesign, more were pledged, but I have no idea if they were built. The remainder are wood posts. Beware the electric fence along fairway #9. Trains to and from Talamone are limited. Plan ahead.
Other Thoughts:
Course was originally designed as twelve 400' ish holes, which were hard to find. The course was moved to an area that was easier to access and it was reduced to 9 holes with extra tees and pins. Granted, the course could use some serious TLC, but the newer layout offers some decent disc golfing as long as you're not looking for a "Pebble Beach" experience.
