Pros:

Difficulty, ranges from direct shots around 300ft or so to s curved , raised baskets embedded in tree stumps, throwing through thin trees and vines and blind corners. Largest elevation changes in houston. Your in the woods under shady treetops from hole 5-18. The course headmaster is constantly there cutting down trees and upkeeping the course. Ontop of that he is a kind fellow that is welcoming and willing to help you through the course.Hyzer and Anhyzer hole variation...sometimes on the same hole (yes some holes are that long). This is an advanced players course.

Cons:

Teepads are marked by cement markers, which on a couple holes are a tad difficult to spot. Im positive that is going to change in time. I have been questioned by an officer why I was there.(I just explained I was golfing with a couple of friends and then directed him to chuck, the course upkeeper, laborer, and inside personnel. All was fine after)CON LOL.

Other Thoughts:

There is no con large enough to not come here. It is lengthy yes,and I have said not a beginners course yes,but if you wanted to become a well rounded, and an overall better player, you gotta come here to do it. There are things at this course you may not ever again experience in Texas .I come from Michigan where elevation change and woods are an every course thing. And to have it so close to home now living in Houston is wonderful.

THANKS CHUCK! And everyone that made donations by cash and labor. This course is excellent.
