Pros:
You are so far away from all the other park amenities you have no concerns about ever needing to worry about hitting a biker or jogger or kid playing or anything else from the civilized world.
The signage is excellent, which it needs to be, as the links are so spread out.
Cons:
There may have been a time when these fairways adhered to the guidelines, but lack of maintenance has put those days well into the past. If you're willing to brave the poison ivy & mud, you will find the short tees largely embarrassing but the long tees largely unplayable.
Other Thoughts:
Two or three solid work weekends by the local community & this could be a great course for daily practice rounds. As it stands, the baskets really should be recovered & put to better use somewhere else.
Given the number of ball golf courses nearby, why aren't there formal courses at these country clubs with dress codes, tee times, greens fees & all the rest? Have seen this work brilliantly in other places & it ensures playable courses.
