A Well Thought-Out Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 10, 2014 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Creative design - the practice basket allows for varied wind play - well-marked 10m bricks, painted blue&white - Nearly every single hole has a sharp difference - plenty of elevation changes - emphasis on accurate placement over distance - I love Chainstar baskets - The Ace Pole on 13.

Cons:

I'm not a fan of thick summer brush - long drivers can only appreciate hole 17 - a few teepads could use a slightly longer run-up, excluding the tees limited by possible erosion - hole 15 tee sign isn't accurate, it's a straight hole.

Other Thoughts:

I'm sad to see that someone vandalized the Ace Pole - it is $2 per round (I see it as money well spent) - you'd better be straight & accurate on 7 because the left rough is a sharp downhill - water levels can fluctuate quite a bit on 11 and 14.

Pros:

This an amazing course with a lot of unique features. The front 9 is open with some good rippers and the back 9 is tight with technical shots. Theres a couple big hills in the back 9, a swamp to the right of 11 with a little creek behind the pad, a swamp you throw over on 14, raised pads on 12 and 14, and the longest is 17 which is 423 feet. This is a must play. I think you'll love it

Cons:

The only con of this course is the amount of land it had to fit on. I think if there was a little more land it would have been a 5 star course.

Other Thoughts:

Please join us for opening day July 28 at 1:00pm. There will be free food and A3 will be giving away prizes.
