Pros:

The course was definitely a challenge, for beginners as well as pros. the one upside to the course was that it definitely gives you practice on your long game. Also no one else was there on a Saturday morning when most courses would be packed. But there was a reason for this.

Cons:

The course was honestly horrible. I went into it very excited as it is the longest course in Virginia. unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. The first problem I had with th course was the poor marking of tee sights. Most of the open holes were not marked or the brush had overgrown the gravel.

secondly, the course runs over top a sewer system, with pipes breaking the surface occasionally. The smell was overpowering at times.

For beginners this course will probably be too much. the first ten holes are almost all long straight away ending in a dog leg, but each side is lined with thick woods. Much of your time will probably be spent searching for your disc in tick infested woods.

Other Thoughts:

For these and many other reasons I do not recommend this course. If you do choose to play it, you will need to take a printout of the course or a internet enabled phone as the course layout is hard to follow and there are no markers pointing to the next tee. Therefore, you may want to play through this course.
