Pros:
This is a fun and challenging course carved out of a beautiful piece of property. Elevation plays a huge role on this course. Holes range from 180' to 290'. Hidden baskets make a few holes more challenging. A local boy scout troop (from Tupelo I believe) donated some great tee signs and benches.
Cons:
Teepads are gravel with carpet over them. Hole 2's tee can be a little muddy. If it is wet climbing down some fairways is more challenging than throwing down them! There is also a $3 entry fee into the park.
Other Thoughts:
This is the third and most challenging course in Tishomingo State Park. The park office carries Innova, Discraft, and DGA discs. Poor teeshots can lead to some interesting upshots. Am players should rack up birdies on the front nine because they are few and far between on the back nine. Anyone looking for a great place to spend the weekend this is it (the park rents cabins).
